    Cherie Grunske, our favorite entertaining guru, will present a seminar on how to use everyday items to add a springtime touch to your decorating.  She'll share fun tips, tasty recipes and ideas for tabletops and buffets to help you plan your warm weather parties, bridal showers and more.  7 p.m.  Cost is $10.  Reservations required.  Call 616-682-0730 to reserve a seat.

    More than a dozen Ada Village retailers and restaurants will be open 5 to 9 p.m. with food, drinks and fun.  Get a card punched at 10 shops and you will be entered in a drawing for 3 fantastic gift bags.  Bring a friend, grab you bag and come shop in Ada!



Think outside the bowl

Our personalized Blessing Bowls are a popular gift for newlyweds.  But think about the hand painted bowls as gifts for graduations, new babies, anniversaries and so much more.  One bride recently ordered one small, planter-size bowl for each member of her bridal party.  A small pastel bowl makes a great baby gift…a keepsake that will go from nursery to dorm room to first home.  You pick the size, color, shape and design.  Also choose the verse or saying to be printed around the top.  We'll also print names and date on the bottom to make the bowl a very personal gift.
